WELCOME TO GRAND CANYON DRUMS

The sound of drumming moves our spirit and helps us pace ourselves with the natural world. Drum music gives patience and understanding about the mystery and power of all things. The rhythmic sound of Native American drums is a calming force in a busy world. Spend time playing a drum, and feel tension melt away. Our drums are an awesome addition to your collection, and are great to play in a drumming circle. Visit our sister company Grand Canyon Flutes to add a flute to your musical collection.

Traditional native american style drums are made of skins of buffalo, elk, cow rawhide and goat. Buffalo has the lowest tone. Cow rawhide is white, most durable and easiest to paint on. Elk also produces fine drums which are lighter. Goat is used on lower priced drums.

Our Painted Drums are created one at a time by professional artists who know how to apply the paint so that it is durable. We do not use decals or slik screening. Yes indeed, each painted drum is handpainted by a professional artist.

Our drums are perfect for drum circles, shamanic healing, meditation, and personal or ceremonial rituals.
